Stephen Cranston was good enough to forward the image of a crest. I have no information about it, but thought to post it here so that folks could take a look and decide for themselves if it might be applicable to our name or even authentic. I do not believe that Stephen has any hard and fast ideas about it either. For now it will be posted here and if other examples might show up, I will also post them along side. This is the Tartan for the county Armagh. According to tradition anyone with a connection to the county may wear this pattern.
